Paddington Rabbits are a cheerfully amateur, everybody-welcome, independent London cricket team promoting grassroots sport, community spirit and social inclusion.
Founded by first-time cricketer and long-suffering music producer Paul of Sound as Westminster’s first rock 'n' roll / creative arts cricket club, the Rabbits have played host to some of the biggest names from the capital's underground music scene, and touring guests from overseas, but always welcome non-musical players of all ages, genders, backgrounds and abilities.
Someone once called us 'an island for lost cricketers' and we wear that as a badge of honour, hoping to give a home and a game to players new and old who may have slipped through the cracks of the traditional game because it’s too stuffy, laddy, expensive or weirdly obsessed with the concept of ‘teas’.

Weather (and local red-tape) providing, home games are played at The Paddington Recreation Ground in Maida Vale in front of a lively local crowd, with some of our popular ‘Friday Night Fever’ T20 games played at our ‘out-ground’ in Regent’s Park.
Nets are at the Rec every Thursday at 6 - 9pm (Lane 4). Get in touch on our Contact page and we will happily add you to our WhatsApp group for all nets / game news.
